If a car is parked and has been flooded 2/3 up the tyres high...will the engine be effffffddddd. Also what other things would need repairing apart from dring the carpets out etc...?

all electrical components that are low down, seat belt tensoners ect. connections on the loom will start to suffer from corosion. also the type of water will add to the problem. fresh or sal****er.

Cars a 182 in orange in wales. One of my drivers has offered 1000 for it.

could cost that again to get it all right as salt water is conductive so any connections not fully dried out or had power in them at the time of flooding will be suffering. i know on my clio the ech (think thats its name but that is £400) module is in the passeger footwell and dose the alarm central locking ect.

Thanks guy said no power as he had a flat battery at the time. Wishful thinking could be a valet away from being on the rd or as you say another 1000. Lucky its not my money id be on the sofa tonight Lol

Ive seen decent 182s going for just over 1k so walk away from that, unless its really cheap

Bottom really has fallen out of the 172/182 marketplace pretty much, sold me 172 cup last year with new clutch, full service history, and mot for £1050 :sad2:
