The b18ft oil filter seems to be the biggest I've seen on any car, does anyone know if it's possible to replace it with (for example) one of the slimmer oil filters from the Clio 172/182 and mk1 16v?

Thinking purely from the perspective of freeing up additional space in the engine bay.

Cheers lads.
I know an oil filter is an oil filter at the end of the day, but wasnt sure if they had some kind of valve internally etc hence the incredible size.

They do have a pressure valve in you will be fine with the GTT filter on a B18ft :agree: I used the GTT purflux filter on my f4r, f7p conversions without any pressure issue's
