Iv got some brembos for my car just need some adapters/brackets for them either made up or if anyone knows anyone who does them or even a cad drawing i can use? I have clio 182 hubs and from reading on cliosport some people do the kits to make them fit with the 280mm discs and under 15s.. iv posted on there but seems hard getting a reply!! rolleyes:
Just wondered if anyone on here knew anyone? Or anything about getting them?
They are made by lads local to me. €95 for the brackets they talk about on cs
Not sure if they're for 15's though. Could be with 300mm scenic discs but i'm not sure

Yeah thats the one mate, read that a guy put up he could get them on willy wheels with standard discs and thats what iv got.. Just need the brackets! Seems hard to get info on cliosport forum

Yeah Cliosport isn't the best place for technical questions. The official brackets are from Monster Sport Europe and are used on the Twingo Rally cars (twingos are based on the 182 floor plan). Tarmac cars use 300mm discs Gravel use 280mm. All parts of the kit are available separately and when I enquired the brackets were £125.22 + Vat each :eek:

Sound mate il have a look on there, i could make some up mate but we dont machining here id rather have them machined out of one block rather than bits welded together like
Sry, i've made a misstake, the ones a guy local to me supllies are for 406 v6 brembo's.
I have seen a pic of an adaptor for 197's which was pretty simple, will try to find it!

Anyone else help on this? iv had people in touch off cliosport with pics and a guy infrance who makes them wants minimum order of 5 sets at £220 each aint got that kind of cash spare.. im going to try make a set myself the weekend see how that goes could just do with dimensions and be sorted but no one wants to give them out :crap:

No joy mate, said he only machines the calipers down to suot the 280mm discs which im currrently having done..
Even though he said he machines them to suit the brackets.. Yet dont supply them

Iv got some ones on the way to suit 300mm discs.. Going to look at the design.. Modify or get new ones made up same kind of design but thatll work
If you can get some brackets made up that'll fit under 15s with those calipers let me know

Currently working on a set now mate to fit 280mm discs.. Added you too.
Sweet. Are 280mm discs the standard size from a 172/182? I'm just running stock 172 discs at the moment so it would be nice if the brembos fitted with those :)
Yeah stock size mate thats what im running at the min as got the hubs on my 5, they do fit iv had a measure up with the brackets i bought and had some made that i need to fit now to aee if they work.. Fingers crossed iv worked it out right and they do :D
Well after a few tweaks to the brackets i got made.. i now have clio 197 brembos on my 5 under 15" willy wheels..
Thanks to the odd one or two members for info on cliosport but to rest who cant be arsed to help or give info.. Well :upyours:
i can honestly say people on here are great compared to other boards.. Go out there way to help with anything you need! £15 membership well spent! :agree:
