That is a genuine Raider, paint work was nice in the day, been years since I last saw that as used to be owned over here.

I saw this in the flesh at our ND at bruntingthorpe many years ago in the show and shine...it looked absolutely stunning with the sun blazing down on it

According to 'mycarcheck' it is/was a raider.

Such a shame to see them ruined.

True mate is ruined :sad2: couldnt be further away from a raider, wrong colour, seats etc would cost a fortune to have it put back to proper colour with blue fleck seats these days, shame as sounded like it used to be a stunner before :coffee:

why do people put such little effort into describing their car;


R5 raider lots of money spent on car over the years just had n/s inner arch welded both jacking points last year will have 12months mot no tax as been stood for a while stage 2 turbo rebuilt last year cost £350 done 1200 mile since head gasket last year it's got over size cam but wen took to garage ratly noise coming from timing chain cover sounds like chain touches every so often k tec front mounted intercooler dump valve has got port for two dump valves only one fitted group a carb silicone hoses big brake conversion on front s/s exhaust all the way thro roll cage in back with chrome strut brace Central locking not working as alarm playing up so removed alarm elec windows working original black carpet inside original badges on both doors for raider rust patch on rear n/s arch under window have fillererd and just put bit of black on it both seats need replacing few dents and dings if restored be £4000 car as my impreza has just decided for rings to give up so r5 has to go

The original seats in 5's are pony though lol. Only good if you weigh 12 stone lol.

OE isn't everything :) I hate the Raider blue colour. It's all down to preference I bet she goes alright if. It had the tweaks done :)

known 3 owners on this. Went to buy it as it come up for sale to me for less than 1000 quid back when it was round my area and lets just say pulling off the rear quarter inside panels I could see light through to the floor, that was the first of many problems:laugh:
