ah, so the dizzy shaft is needed to push down on the gear to keep it in place. Was looking to remove the dizzy and put in a blanking plug when i get the Nodiz up and running but need a blanking plug with the dizzy spring drive bit stuck on the bottom.

I'm sure you could chop it down to just underneath the blanking plate. But I'm sure someone will give you the answers you need from experience rather than just guessing like me :D

Hi when i efi ed mine i just cut the dizzy drive shaft down and blanked the top off just to tidy it up works well
