Speaker grills

Tried to fit my speaker grills this weekend... but couldn't see anything for them to clip onto!

There's a black plastic thing lining the edge of the speaker hole on the doorcard which is stapled at the bottom, is this normal?

Does anyone have any pictures of how it should look inside the doorcard?

I think I may have to find some replacements..

There sort of fit in twist and lock into place mate, a lot are broken and glued into place now days

Yup theres about 3 or four tabs that stick out. There probably broken. Should just twist on.

Yeah i can see they twist on, couldn't see anything inside the door that they would twist on to. Oh dear..

I guess i'll have to glue them on, can't imagine i'd need to get at the speakers once they're fitted.

Yep sounds like the speaker tabs are knackered on your door cards - a lot are as they are very fragile.
