Has anybody done this ?

Is it safe to do ?

Any recommendations of where to get it done ?

Cheers

I'd get some hub centric spacers that act as the adapters for the wheels rather than butcher the wheels on a lathe.

I just had mine done mate I had the centre bores took out to fit my 5 as there was loads of metal and I aint a fan of spacers and so on.

Just get a decent machine shop to open it up on a lathe. Its common practise, hardly butchering a wheel. Far safer than spacers and cheaper.

I have in the past had wheel bearings go on me a lot quicker due to using spacers. Quick and easy option but in the long run pain in the arse and cost more!

Can anyone recommend a good machining shop near London/Herts.
