Anyone run the NS2-R tyre on their megane ?

Struggling to get the Federals in the 235/40/18 variant I need. Dropping down to the 225/40/18 that the R26.R came with.

I have been informed via a tuner ( Cazan Racing ) that the Nankang NS2-R is a great tyre.

Anyone any experience of them ? Compared to a RSR?

Nankang aka "Ditch finders" ;)

Worse tyre you could put on a performance car, its a budget tyre mate, steer clear. :agree:

Hi fella.

Thats what I thought. They are known as TDF ( Taiwanese Ditch Finders )

However, they appear to be trying to break out of the mold , and producing these.

A bit like Falken to an extent , they made average tyres other than the RSR.

Have a look here (http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Nankang/NS2R.htm), and here (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?691924-Nankang-Sportnex-NS-2R-Fitted) to see what I mean.

I have read that they are trying to crack the road legal slick market to. :crap:

Unless I was fitting them on a 1.2 run around town car, I would look else where. :)

Even on the newer nankangs.

The RSR are supposed to be awesome.

I guess it also depends on how many miles you cover in 6 months ..

Well, that speaks for it self really don't it, I mean, you wouldn't use drag slicks for drifting. ;)
