Stereo wiring

Previous owner cut off the stereo connecter on my car.

Have bought one off e bay but not sure what all the wires correspond to.
Speaker wires are pretty simple, just the others i'm not sure about, to make things harder the wires on the new connector are different colours lol.

Have a search around the boards Paul there are a number of threads on this.

Totally from memory: You should find the front door speakers are orange/brown IIRC. Then there are two live's red/yellow (one ignition, one permanent) and a black earth.

Then do a search on google images for your connector type. There will be a diagram somewhere telling you which connectors are which.

That should give you enough information to have a go, along with a multi-meter.

They are common colours , black is neg , then you have yellow wire and a red , not sure which is perm and which is switched

I just followed the iso wiring of the net
