I have just spoken to Paul Marshall who sent me this:

Can do the 4 layer for £100+ postage for 10 or more, they are normally £141. Single layer I can do for £60+ postage. They are normally £78.

Postage will be £9. So £109 for 4 layer and £69 for the single layer.

Pics attached of single layer.

Let me know who's interested and I'll take it from there...

1) Romil Davda x2 (not sure on single or 4 layer!)

FB post from Paulo:
They are on my website here. I can vouch for both the single layer as I have one on my Williams. Superb quality and don't blow off like the cheap covers.

If we can get the order in, in the next week i'll take 1.

It's not a massive saving over the total cost on the website, so I'd push back a little on us having to order 10 to get the discount. ;)

A minimum of 5 would be fine on these :)

plenty of stock of the 4 layer, single layer are not in stock for a couple of weeks.

Nice idea but that seems a bit much for a car cover. In my experience eventually the fibre covers disintegrate leaving white dandruff all over your motor.

Just my advice and my experience with car covers. Cheap or expensive.

Buy a cheap one bin it after a year then buy another.

My experience, buy cheap and watch bodywork scratched, cover down end of road after heavy wind, and keep replacing it. had a cover like the stormforce one on the car for last 2 years, great cover, well worth the money.

I've had the stormforce cover on my Williams for nearly 2 years now.
Didn't budge over the weekend even with the heavy wind we had round my way.

Keeps it nice and dry too and still looks like new, apart from the odd bit of bird poo on it, least it wasn't on the paintwork :)

Its a group buy Scott to ascertain if anyone wants one not a thread to discuss whether or not you agree with them or rate them, why not start a thread in the general chat and mull over the beans of car cover experiences? :cooter::laugh:

GOOD job romil, trying to help the club and members with a deal :agree:

This is not my experience at all and it's also the first time I've ever heard of anyone saying a cover had disintegrated.

The only complaint I had was with cheap ones (i.e. not the ones in this thread). They can rub the paintwork if held tightly against the bodywork for extended periods of time outdoors. Due to the wind.

Since you left your original post as it was (after Red had posted), I thought it worthwhile to add some balance, so that others reading were less likely to be swayed by what was written. :agree:

My cover arrived last week, got the chance to put it on today. I can report that the quality is excellent, the fit is nigh on perfect and has 2 straps to hold it onto the car.

Here's some pics;
https://plus.google.com/app/basic/photos/+GordonByers/album/5978432398638519553?authkey=CJf2446t5-GXYw&source=appredir

If it stretched down to under the front bumper at the front it would be perfect. As is, it's good but isn't quite able to hook under the bumper.
EDIT: After a little adjustment, i have managed to get it to hook under the front bumper.

the adjustable straps for under the car lack tension so I've used some small plastic clips to stop the straps from loosening.

I have ordered one last week, expecting it on Monday.

If it fits like that I will be happy, I will just use some extra securing at the front to make sure it doesn't go walkabout in the wind. :agree:

I couldn't wait for a group buy as I needed it asap:disagree:

:agree:

Is it not possible to bring the rear forward just that tiny bit it needs for the front edge to slip down over the lower lip? Or is the fit at the back already on the limit? And I guess the wing mirror outlets restrict adjustment somewhat too?

I was able to adjust mine old cheap one to cover both ends but it was longer to start with and didn't have wing mirror extensions.

I've nipped out, and yes... i was able to pull the cover forward from the rear a fraction and it only just manages to hook under the bumper. :)

Got mine in 2 days and it's the best fitting cover I've tried. Very good soft and thick feel about it.
Recommended.
Thanks!
