Irritating question I know, but does anyone have a diagram for the campus engine? Dropped the c1j into it and just trying to get it running,
Can the standard starter motor wiring be used?
Also there are red and black wires coming from the bendix, can't remember of the top of my head what they do?
Thanks guys

I thought the campus engine wiring loom was nearly the same as the gtt one. starter motor is the same + so is the wiring.
red and black from the bendix? - you mean the renix? - must be positive and negative at a guess ;)

There are a couple differences (or I just don't remember them)
Tried to photo graph them here
These are from the standard ecu:

As you said sparkle wiring for the starter motor is the same (I just didn't have it right) so the car is now turning over, but we are not getting a spark, I'm thinking that this is because the ecu isn't getting any power, possibly due to one of these connectors???
The 1st PIC red and black wires remove them Ican only assume they have been used for a rev limiter in the past.
The short black thick cable that plugs into aei and then has round 3 pin plug other end is knock sensor connection. Wont stop from starting
The green one should that not be plugged into the aei unit??

Is it from a aftermarket rev counter?
Where about does the knock sensor plug in, can see anywhere
The green plastic plug looks like it should plug into the ecu, but the pins aren't the same
do you own Haynes manual. - the connections to the aei are in there. you can basically get it to work, by putting ignition live to the correct pin and earthing the other pin. - then when it detects a signal from the tdc sensor the unit will produce a decent spark.

Yus I've have the Haynes manual, but I struggle to identify which plug comes from where
some interesting stuff here:

you just really need to get a voltmeter and see which plug/wire shoes 12v when the ign is on..... then you know that is the right plug.

if its an EFI campus (1992 on)the wiring to the ecu will be different as the unit on the campus is only an ignitor and coil.
