is that the part off the box i got a quote the other month and for the two parts and it was nearly 200 quid for both.

the top half is riduculous price mate try your local dealer though as the prices just vary to much

funny you should say that i heard this before so i asked the dealer and he said no its definitly in two pieces so went went through the system and he says its listed as two pieces and the price was ridiculous so walked away

£200? Blimey. Buy a sat-nav, it'll show you wour speed and you can have something to shout at when it gets you lost.

The cable i have is one piece. Came with the car.

im pretty certain there is 2 set ups of throttle cable.

im sure the earlier cars came with the 2 part setup -

long piece from footwell to the pivoting carb bracket] and the short piece on the opposite end of the pivoting carb bracket to the throttle lever on the carb.! i think ive got that right..?

later cars came with a longer 1 piece throttle cable which routes its way from the footwell to passenger side of the engine bay then across to the carb where its outter sleeve is clamped to the carb bracket and the inner is pulled through the throttle lever.

i brought a speedo cable about a month back and it is a one piece and was 90 pound

That part number is £59.46 inc VAT, providing that is the correct number.
