OK, not a turbo, but still interesting. I had an email exchange recently with a friend in France, he has very strong links with the 'collection'. We'd not spoken in ages so I told him a little about my Twingo 172. He said' you know that Renault built one?' I didn't, but apparently they built a few with 1.6 and 2L engines with the idea of a one make series, they still have a 2L in the collection. It looks to be more like a clio Willaims in a Twingo body.

I found some pics online.

it didn't fit in with the image Renault wanted for the Twingo, a bit like the F1 powered Twingo....

That looks well cool, they managed to keep their cold air scoop in place too

Lol, cool.

I know you can't exactly see much but has the engine bay shot given you any helpful ideas?

He did say that the suspension was a bit special, I'd like to have a look at that.

I have the same rear spoiler, but not the front one, or the bonnet scoop. I don't think I'm missing out.
