Hot off the press is the news that RRG has just been announced:)

August 31st at Shelsey Walsh hill climb Worcester.

I've booked us a club stand again for this year but spaces are yet to be confirmed.

I'll update this thread later when I have more details but for now, rest easy in the knowledge that RTOC does have a stand :agree:

It might be a bit premature to list who's attending straight away but over the next few days I'll gather more info.

It's the first time it's been at this venue so I can't really comment on how the day will pan out but I can say that every 'gathering' I've been to has been a belter :)

Good news is that stand passes have now been confirmed and will be with me shortly.

As soon as they've landed I'll ask you all to pm me your details and I'll get them posted out to you all

Only me and James representing RTOC today. There was a few 5s on the turborenault.co.uk area as well. Show was OK but I think Prescott was better last year. Shame you could not make it Ross :cry: Never mind I'm sure we will catch up again sometime.

Yeah real sorry I couldn't be there but today is the first day of our holiday so at the last minute it was decided that it was best to just head straight to Portsmouth rather than dragging the kids there first.

In the end I was only asked for 3 passes which was a bit dissapointing but it is getting late in the year I guess. And atleast 3 from Rtoc made the trip and enjoyed the day I hope. How did the track compare to Prescott Tim?

Hi had a top day, parked in turbo renault place rather than rtoc even though tim did say van, lol still loved every minute and think i have found my ideal form of motorsport;). i.e oncee a year, drive their and try to beet your time anualy.

I am definatly going up the hill next time, i think this would make a good venue for a natonal day.:agree: Nice variety of car and fast cars especially.

Pleasure to meet Tim in the van, and the dude (sorry forgot your name) with the gold plated engine bay. Loved the exterior of his car, and the design and colour's esspecialy. My friend suggested that the yellow light would look great with all your modifications. Thinking of doing them my self.:)

Great to meet Tim and a few other guys. Some great cars and an event I have never attended before. Poor show of R5's from both RTOC and Turbo Renault but good meeting new faces never the less.
Weather could not have been better and lots of compliments from anyone and everyone about the car.

P.S car did 285 miles round trip and drove like a beaut!

Lol snap did 290 miles round trip and was a great day. Agree not many renaults but a whole array of cool cars. Maybe we should get the turbo renault and rtoc to park in adjacent slots next time. Whatever the differrnces between members, all 'skips (r5s) should be together" lol

19296I was there too..in my red 5 ..1st time at retro rides great day out.
All sorts of cars really impressed with the hill climb stuff.
Spotted a mint white gt turbo there anyone's on here? Also the black 5 gt turbo on the renault stand looked sweet..
Was guna park up next to all the others but maybe next year!!
Anyone see the black rs500 go up the hill ha beast!!

I liked the toyota gt celica old type..looked like the gt500 gone in 60 secs..

It was great to meet you Majid. I agree it would be good to have the two clubs next to each other so all the 5s are together.
I did not see the red 5 sorry. Where were you parked? Should have come and said hello.
Ross. From a spectators point of view of the hill, I think Prescott is better. The show was as good as each other.

Yeah defo I'd never seen one before....I'm coming back next year..hopefully with a mint R5 this time.. I was parked up by the road fence line hiding..ha..I agree all the 5gt turbos phase ones twos should all be together anything 5..the French connection ha..
I enjoyed the drive back though a spirited drive !! Absolutely love my five turns heads were ever I go..it's converted me from the vaux scene.

Are there any other get togethers going on this year ?I'm at pod sat nite special but in a mr2 turbo riding shotgun for my mate.
