high tensile bolts

I would like to replace all of my suspension/subframe bolts for new ones. But I just want too know if anyone knows what grade tensile bolts I need.

I took a shock to hub bolt into a fastener shop not far from me and he told me he could just make a 10 out. And all he could find was a 12 tensile bolt that had the same length solid shaft. Is this going to be ok.

The higher the number the stronger it is.

Cheers bud, I've just done some research on this, and I've come to the conclusion that you can't go to strong.
