View Full Version : Need a favour (just a quickie)
Hi I'm trying to set up a local FTP server...
Can someone just copy paste this in their browser and see if it lets you in?
ftp://81.157.110.67
If so user name is user1 and password is gti.
If you get in can you tell me what the photo is in there so I know you managed to get in.
Cheers Ashy.

Try it now mate, it was in the DMZ settings, I've assigned the pc a public IP address, should work.

Aslong as ftp is setup properly all you should need to do is forward ports 21 to your local machines ip address and the router will pass it all through. DMZ is a bit of a lazy ass way. If you can connect locally that should be all that needs doing but might be worth checking your firewall isnt blocking port 21 aswell.
