yeah we talked about that but he had an oil leak from the dip stick under pressure . he was going to look at it and get back to me but think hes struggling to find out what the problem is.

Also whilst I remember, Rob said he did an oil change and it went until the next time he used the car the oil dip stick popped out.... I would have good money on it that Rob accidentally didn't put the dipstick back in fully....

Rob is being super cautious about selling this car as he don't want to mess anybody around...

But I have a good look over it this week, did the comp test, drove the car, generally had a good look around and it's sound...

I owned it briefly, Scotty R5 before me and another member before him and the engine was fine for all off them to, pulls bloody well :)

Does seem like a good car putting aside the oil problem ( if there is one). There's a cup of tea sitting here on the way back if you should buy this one smithy,im only 20 miles from this car on the way home for you;). Good to see your still on the hunt for one of these.

When my 2nd GTT kept blowing its dipstick out, it (apparently) turned out to be due to a cracked block. Quite rare I think so I'm not saying this is the issue with this car but it might need considering by the current owner.

breather system blockage.... Or just needs to squeeze the top of the dipstick tube to make it seal.

Think that's the plan one weekend, Rob don't use the car anyway so we will get our hands dirty soon.... :) cheers for the advise tho Sparkie :)
