good evening all
i need some help, i've been trying to bleed my brakes today, the fronts were no problem but i'm having troble with the rears, i'm grtting fluid to the compensator but noting coming out the other side, i've tried moving the lever back and forward which seems to move freely but still no fluid to my calipers
does it mean my compensator needs replacing
thanks lee

You need to have it fully compressed to allow the fluid through. :agree:

Are you doing them in the right order

i will try and fully compress it tomorrow and see if that helps,
was using a pressure bleeder so though if i pushed it forward the fluid would get through

hmm, i bleed the fronts first and didn't compress the spring so maybe thats the problem
should i drain the fluid from the fronts and start again?

Well I tried again and still no joy, I'm getting fluid to the compensator but nothing is coming out the other side. I've looked at pictures on here and as far as I can tell I've connected it up correct. Is there any way of testing it off the car

try pumping the brakes (with foot)with the pressure bleeder in situ and the valve held forward

I'll give it a go, but I had the outlet side completely off and still no fluid coming out.
