View Full Version : Harewood 2013 photos
A few picks of my outings at Harewood this season in my albums.
Intend doing Midland and NSCC next year so should have a few tussles with Doctor Thorpe ( who has given me a good deal of advice this year - thanks Russell)
Yes I know it looks a bit floppy, suspension will be upgraded over the winter!

for anyone looking at this it's full chat in 3rd ( or are you into 4th by then?) probably 85/90mph - then a naughty little hairpin right
roll on next year
Is the colour Liquid Yellow like the 182s? Looks great on the 5 :)

Bought it off Matt bumblebee1990 last year, he told me it was Spider Yellow? don't know if that's correct
Amazes me how many youngsters come for a look in the paddock, most of them not even born when it was new. So it must look ok

Yes spider yellow as I was told by the owner before me lol Ian all that car does is attract attention and all of it good lol people heard it burble then watch as everybody's snapping there necks to get a look at it lol has to be seen to be appreciated. Wish I never sold it :( but I'm sure its given you the fair share of problems that it did me.

Looks like a lot of fun and your car looks great.
Do you not need a roll cage for that type of race?
no you don't
in standard or road modified one isn't required by the regs although many do and it will of course help with the handling
i haven't got one at the mo but will be fitting a full cage for this year, think Russell Thorpe has a rear cage i think
problem is they add weight which we all try and reduce but if you do flip it your not walking away unless you have one!!
look at gosprinting.co.uk or Russells vid on how to start competing - he's all moody in the opening titles, very steve mcqueen!
