The engine has just been swapped on my Gt Turbo.

New engine installed and running but a couple of pipes not connected. Could someone advise where these go to as cant find anywhere for them

First one is the braided one coming from below the carb.

2nd is the long thin pipe heading towards the strut top

Thanks in advance

Any further detail of what they are connected to at the other end? Got any pictures?

At a guess, the first one looks like it could be the aei line if it connects to the port on the carb below the throttle. Second one is probably the fuel vent if it's connected to the enrichment block on the carb.

Yep, that's the aei reference pipe. You'll need a longer piece of vac hose to make it reach :)

Is the hose in the centre of this pic the other end of the longer hose in question??

It's the hose connected to the sticky out thingy to the left and up a bit from the other braided hose in query.

That thin black hose just needs to be fed down the back of the engine. It's a fuel overflow for when one of the things in the carb blocks/perishes and just vents to atmosphere.

or if you mean the black one that goes down, that's the carb vent. just vents to atmosphere :)

To avoid the confusion just created. The black pipe is the one that vents to the atmosphere, the braided one appears to the AEI reference.
