What's your chosen console? I've stayed xbox and am anticipating something special from both again to be honest. Does anyone know anything interesting about either consoles??

Am a current xbox360 player, but will be switching to ps4 because;
1. No backward game compatability on either console means no loyalty to stick with one over the other.
2. Next cod game will be 1080 on ps4 but only 720 on Xbox. Rumours of Xbox being underpowered - I'll take my chances with ps4.

Yea ps4 paying to go online with xbox is not a good idea
Ps4 for me GTJOSH:hump::hump:Hopefully i will get one without any of the initial glitches they have.I think they sold 1million units in the first 24hr in the USA out of them around 1% have developed faults.:confused:

Im gonna stick with what i have for as long as possible..
Ps4 for me, has the best controller, cant stand xbox one

Am sticking with the PS, done me well for the last 15 years or so PS1 that is! :ashamed: dont have time to play that really so just gathering dust :laugh:

Surely the way to go is to get Steam for the PC. No problems with backwards compatibility there. Or indeed having to buy a new console every time one comes out.

I've always been a PS guy & although I don't play it much, i've got a PS4 arriving on launch day & will see how I get on :)

I've never seen such a website as that (not that I've looked) That seems really good.
Do you not need a mega powerful PC to play modern games though?
My brother swears by Steam.
For those that don't already own a good PC, basically you can spend the money buying one that you saved by not buying a console, lol. It will play the games and do everything else a PC does that a console doesn't. Plus it's upgradable, plays all the old titles. Has a plethora of cheap games available. You can even improve on the graphics of the console if you have a very powerful machine and can max all the settings.
Of course there will always be drawbacks. Such as Steam may not have the game you want, or that it may not have the latest games available on the day they are released. It's not as portable if you're using a desktop tower. I don't really know as I've not used it myself.
I love my pc gaming, and steam.. and now days the fact u can take a 360 remove and bung it in without issue.. amazsing.. 1080..(have been playing everying in 1080 before time began.. far more powr than a console.. 60fps.. plus.. not the ****ty 30fps console crap... pcs are amazing,, suport pc gaming.. oh yea.. and steam.. oh yea and gog.com (good old games) :cool:

Xbox for me but its a expensive buy when I will just end up buying call of duty and flashbang my own team.
So I shall stick with what I have and troll away.

Its not.
GT6 is PS3 only. GT7 will be PS4 only. In around 18 months :eek:

Pc and steam for me. Pretty much has all the best games avalable and nearly all have the option to use an xbox controller or similar.
Well I've got my xbox one, had it acouple week. I've got to. Be honest its awesome!

I think when Steam box gets released, (basically a pc with a gamers operating system) then things will look interesting!

Been flat out on Need For Speed the last couple day's. :burnrubber:
It's a really good game once you start unlocking features and upgrading the cars. Also got killzone, cod-ghost and battlefield 4. :cool:
Anyone else got a PS4 yet? Tomb Raider was awesome, online feature was about as good as playing a Atari! :laugh:

i used to be 360 but decided to spend some serious money on a pc an use steam/origin and uplay now my 360 sits in a box packed away. pc does have its downsides tho the parts are more expensive than a console if you wanna play games on ultra settings. and the games dont always come out at the same time as consoles. like gta for instance which still isnt out

that's why I kept the ps3 too, still rattling through GTAV as well :cool:
I never sell old stuff anyway, still got my megadrive, ps1, ps2, ps3 fat, ps3 slim, Gameboy, PSP and all the damn games too

I like the idea of Aliens, but not the fact it's not unlimited like Zombies, was big fan of that, looking forward to the next edition. :cool:
With a bit of luck I'll have Black Flag for my birthday (I've laid heavy hints with the wife!) and Driveclub looks interesting.
For me I want to play an F1 game but there doesn't seem to be one in development? :(
