View Full Version : Discs and pads all round needed which ones to get?

Ayup I want to get some new discs and pads for the front and back wheres the best and cheapest place to get these from? Ive been told I need discs cw bearings for the rear.

Probably the likes of ECP or GSF I'd have though. Maybe Mike @ GT Turbo Spares? Yes, you'll need new bearings for the back discs as they're pressed into the disc itself. Just leave the pads standard unless you're liable to track it. :)

just checked out the ds3000 and £90 just for pads is a little steep for me. I`m never gonna track the car (well apart from last saturday i`m not) so I think i`ll just try GSF or euros and see how much theyre coming out at.

if you drive on the road hard upgrade your set up from cheap sh1te.. ive had cheap on all my cars and its always an early fail:crap:

My 5 only gets used on a weekend and not really driven hard so I think standards will be fine for now.

I would recommend Pagid (standard) discs. I use them on my car and they're fine on and off track. I think they were only £20 odd quid :agree:

Brembo discs are also cheap.Give ap motorstore in west yorkshi:agree:re a ring.
