Right guys the club has an opportunity to start getting phase 2 GT turbo grills remade, they should be made as OE quality but they are working on a different bottom fixing, as the OE one is rubbish and is next to impossible to replicate. We are thinking they will come in at around the £150 mark so now is a good time to ask if anyone is interested if the club get them made.

So it's also a good opportunity to put your name down as there will be limited amount made. :)

realistic time scale is 6 weeks for the first lot as the mould still has to be made after the mould it takes 2 days per grille as they leave it in the mould for a day

one of the cooler things is all the grilles will be dyed when they are being made so say you get a stone chip on a red or black car the whole grille would be that colour so it wouldn't be as noticeable, that's being done free of charge

Hi mate, brilliant that you taking this on, it's been needed for a long time and a shame the interest is low.

Could you possibly get a photo of a grill you have done as I believe people are cautious of putting there name down for a £150 grill which they haven't seen.

It's not that people do not want them, it's just the wrong time of year.

Keep going though and endeavour as you are doing everyone in the club a very good turn and I am sure that everyone appreciates your efforts.

Demand for Grills will also be slow.... Most people would rather repair than pay £150 for them....

Or just make them and chuck on the eBay... (Much bigger market - less tight arse's)...

Or you could have a chat with Mike, he may possibly be interested in a bulk buy?

Please don't give up.

You have done well finding someone willing to take these on.The mould will be very expensive to produce and then theres the time it takes to produce the grills.£150 might seem alot at first but its actually a good price.A bloke i know who works with fiberglass wasnt interested for £150 each as it wasnt worth his time and effort for that price. He also wanted the mould to be funded.

Okay, please also put my name down for one. Can we please be given plenty of notice as to when the money would be needed, because I would have to save the money over 2 or 3 months. Thanks ;)

Make sure you take deposits for these. Lest we have another RTOC repeat. :agree:

Was a part in having the Phase 1 grills reproduced but the costs were too high as numbers were low.

Not in fiberglass though
