How can you advertise this on here for £2500 when its on ebay? and when people email you, you say your in no rush to sell?? is this for sale or not?

Advertising on Ebay and on here at the same time is a regular occurrence. Whichever place gets the sale first, the car is taken off the other immediately.

Being in no rush to sell usually means they wont sell for a low ball offer.

What's the issue here? Have you offered to pay the £2500 asking price and been turned down?

My friend has emailed him in the view to go and look and pay the £2500 asking price and the reply he got was

"Hi car can only be sold once I have found a replacement won't be selling otherwise if you are local to me feel free to pop down thanks (sorry if this is vague but only have the longterm storage for the one car not being lumbered with two cars plus need to find a decent replacement as well)"

Why is there a price drop on here and a live Ebay auction if you will only sell once you've found another car? Why have this up for anything other than px until you have that other motor? It's confusing.

My mate was interested in your car a some months back he offered you £3250 but he said you didn`t seem like you wanted to sell so he bought another one instead. if the car sells on ebay are you going accept its been sold?? he just doesn`t want to come all that way waste petrol to have a look bring £2500 cash and you say your not selling till you find another car. He`s genuinly interested in the car and he has the money waiting.

Why not write another post but rather than state for sale put in it swap for something else in the title then people wont get the wrong end of the stick and everyones happy:)

Hi,

I sent an email 4 days a go about buying the R5. Did you get it? As I will be importing the car to the US, i need to know the date of registration when new.

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Something is not right. I offered you pay you £2,500 cash, and collect this weekend by a family member who live in Sleaford, Lincs, my wife.

You will not sell me your car, just because i live in Florida? I import cars frequently to add to my collection.

I would have paid you £3,250 and not even taken the spares...customs do not like you filling a container with a car and spares.

I'm sure if your family member turned up with £2500 in cash signed one of these http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/car-buyers-guide/cbg_buyerscontract.html and drove the car away there'd be no problem?

Surely its upto the seller whether he makes the end decision to sell or not?
Yes its a little odd turning down a sale after advertising it for so long but thats his decision to make, so lets not get on to the guy about it.
Its his car to sell or keep, maybe he doesnt really want to sell who knows...
