Remote Central Locking

Did the GTT come with remote central locking. Mine currently has a Clifford remote with its own receiver to open / close doors, I've now removed this for the re-build.

If they did originally come with a fob, can they be re-instated. What is needed for them to work. Obviously I need to get a fob. Is there an old guide to re-programming one of these?

The phase 2 did, not sure on the phase 1's? I think the old Casio TV watches worked on the same wave and could actually pop the lock, not 100% on that tho. :laugh:

I can't remember what I had with my first 5, it was too long ago.

I know there is a sensor of some description that is up by the interior light. Not sure if it's linked to the door lock switch down by the console.

Sounds like you just need a blip and reciever, providing the wiring hasn't been chopped.

Many of the older Renaults have the same set up and fit the 5.
