how sad am I, a few seconds in and I'm thinking "that looks like the old Renault Sport garage on the back straight at Paul Ricard"

Is the paul Ricard ecclestones circuit?

That thing is crazy, its why I like renaults so much they are the only car maker mad enough to fit such an engine in a mpv, I know ford did it with the supervan first but it looks pony and now is sporting a breathed on 2.9 from a granada cosworth.

I think it's one of his.

Which supervan, Ford built 3 that I can remember, the last using the back half of a Benetton. My favorite is the XJ220 transit TWR built to test the Jaguar running gear on the road, none of the others were built as true road vehicles or driven regularly on the road.

Thats the van he's on about mate, i remember reading somewhere the they took the Benetton engine out of Supervan 3 and fitted the Granada v6 in its place. Why is another question:crap:

My favourite has to be Suopervan 1 with the Mk1 escort type bubble arch's on it. Can't remember what engine was in it, just loved the old skool look about it.

Three, aparantley ford could never find anyone mad enough to drive it with the benneton v10 so tamed it with a v6.

looks like they fitted the back end from a prosport 3000, that would make sense as the parts would be a lot more available. The Benetton would have been a v8 btw.

I would love a job where work is building F1 powered toys, they say it was all done as a marketing exercise but you know they are all like little kids building it.
