Hi guys I've found these not sure if any 1 can help me, would these fit my 5 gt turbo door opening guards

Difficult to tell from the pic whether they are designed for the Mk1 or Mk2 R5. The sculpted shape makes it looks like they are for the earlier version. Don't you have them to hand? I mean are you able to offer them up to your GTT?

No I don't I'm affraid :( I want to buy them tho. But not if they won't fit. On the label it says Renault 5 L tk can't see what else it says.

I think they did a TL in both mk1 and mk2.

I've definitely seen these fitted to a 5, I just can't remember for sure which mark it was but I suspect mk1.

Are the door opening bits different to the mk 2 then ? Cheers for ur help.

Put it this way, if something is specifically designed to fit in the door handle recess on a Mk1 (like Adey's), it will not fit the door handle recess on a Mk2 (i.e. a GTT).

Having never owned a Mk1 5, I can only be 99.99% sure of the above however.

As a pointer. If you look at the rear edge of those things in the picture you posted, they appear to be curved. Have a look at the rear edge of a GTT's door handle recess. Is it curved?

as i fitted them onto adey's car when i owned it, i can say the ones you have in the link are definately mk1 5 units.
