plug extenders - other options

hi guys, been trawling the net today - the plug extenders on my 18 turbo are very worn and id like to replace them if possible -

are these still available from renault or are there a different style of HT lead that could be used that is longer reach? im sure its a simialr setup to that on the early 5 turbos?

gordini's and gordini turbo's used them.
they are a massive pain, cos they screw onto the plugs. - you have to unscrew them first to get the plugs out.
I found that K11 nissan micra leads worked well on mine. - i found a set of magnecor at the scrappers ( what are the chances of that!)

just try a set from the scrappies first, they may fit yours too.

it might also be worth talking to Antony R17 owner on here, as he fitted a fuego turbo lump to his R17 - same one as yours :)
