Will this work with the 5??

I take it the pipe goes in then out to the actuator??

Cheers Scott

I think it would as its just an electronic bleed valve if you like but the one thing i was told is your carb and fuel is set up for the boost you run. you alter your boost and the fueling will be to pot.

Fine on a fuel injected car but on old carbs its better to have it all set up and left alone.

I am sure someone will say if i am wrong tho.

I used to run a similar electronic boost controller. (Blitz SBC).

It works fine with the carb/turbo, but i agree with Bood that once you have your carb set up to fuel for a specific amount of boost then you shouldn't need to adjust it anymore.

It's useful for making minor tweaks to the boost as your driving with an afr gauge. It's also useful if you want to quickly turn down the boost if your car starts acting up.
The one i had also seemed to flatten out boost spikes better than a manual bleed valve.

Cheers lads, seems the second one is more value for money with the extra functions etc...

I'm just sick of tuning the car and having to play around with a hot engine between runs,

Changing fuel jets in my car is a piece of cake and running rich is a way of life for my carb ;)

Once it's set though I'd be leaving it alone until trips to the pod etc...

Got a real buzz for that after the weekend!!!

setup the carb for max boost, then lower the boost down. It'll only go richer on boost with less boost, cruising around fueling won't change

the gizmodo is a let down to be honest , that hks one is quite old,
the better ones would be the apexi avcr or the sbc2

Thoughts apex ones do look good, I didn't think half the features on it would work on a 5?

some of them wont but the boost control and the learn gear will
