I've had enough!
Is anyone interested in a black phase 2 with an f7p fitted?
Full conversion including r19 dash so all dials work
R19 leather seats, drivers one split
Vent in bonnet, unknown type (looks crap)
Vent in wing, same applies
The rear bumper has had the slats removed and meshed (god knows why)
The front bumper has been made to look like a mk1 clio bumper (which it does) but totally ruins the look of a 5.
Sitting on matte black original alloys
Scorpion 4" exhaust
Idle hunts when cold (cold start injector)
The car drives fine and pulls well, gearbox and clutch is fine
Paintwork not brilliant but passes the 10 yard test
Not too bad for dents or rust, around screen pretty good, bootlid started to go only on inside
No tax or mot
Just failed mot on a split steering rack gaitor, rear brake caliper and rotten sill on drivers side (has started to creep onto floor pan but only slightly) rest of car is fine.
I bought it with mot and tax to use as a daily driver but because I wanted to change everything about it (wing, bonnet, seats, bumpers etc.) I ended up putting it in a garage and forgetting about it.
I was planning on it looking completely standard apart from the wheels painted black
The mot failure is recent as I was going to get the ball rolling but I can't find anyone to take on the sill welding (I'd keep it if I could) so I'm seeing if anyone is interested in buying it.
Could be a nice little project for someone.
You could end up with a nice little 5 that's reliable with a bit of TLC for under £1k
I don't know who did the conversion or any other history about the car.

I can't add photos because I've only got Internet access through a smart phone and I don't know how to do it but if anyone is interested you can pm me your number and receive pics through whatsapp if you like.
Thanks
All questions and offers welcome.

Out of nowhere I've found a welder willing to take on the work so I've decided to keep it.

That welder will either be a god send or the death of you!

Well sadly I've decided that I've got to sell up.
I was getting the car ready to have the welding work done when I found a puddle in the drivers footwell which has been chased back to the heater matrix.
I then realised the dash needs to come out and because its cold wet and dark when I get home and most weekends are tied its just not going to get done and I've got nowhere to store it.
On the whole the shell is pretty good, only a small patch by one bolt behind the rear plastic arches, the other side is fine. Around the windscreen is pretty good too. Sunroof doesn't leak to my knowledge but I think it's sealed shut, I haven't actually opened it as it doesn't leak and I'm happy with that.
Just needs the drivers inner sill working on, the rust has slightly crept onto the floor pan but only a tiny amount.
Both outer sills need replacing.
A steering rack boot is split and a rear brake caliper isn't working 100% apart from that it will pass an mot.
A few bolt holes in the floor need welding up as when I got it it had a weird frame bolted in with r19 seats bolted to that, it lifted the seating position quite a lot and being 6'3" wasn't ideal so that came straight out, strange why it was done as original seat mountings are fine.
The car is currently stripped out with just the dash inside.
The outside has front wings off, rear plastic arches and side skirts off, front bumper off.
Engine hunts when cold due to cold start injector.
Could make a good project for someone.
I will try and add pics ASAP of what it looked like before and what it looks like now.
I have no problem putting it all back together but just seems a little pointless considering.
Looking for offers as it NEEDS TO GO.
Trying on here first then if not it'll go on eBay.

Bypass the heater matrix for the minute. You can then continue with your work on the car until summer comes.

Keep the faith :agree:

If I have no interest or offers by tues morning then it's going on eBay to the highest bidder, if nobody bids then its being scrapped. Shame really as it doesn't need that much to save it.
