intermitent wiper problem

hi guys i have a really annoying problem on my 5 the wipers wont turn off intermitent. has anyone come accross this before i have all other wiper speeds just intermitent wont turn off when the ignition is on. any ideas guys. thanks:)

Mine sometimes comes on by itself and won't turn off if I drive through a large puddle at speed and used to after a jet wash. I just took the fuse out put back in after 10 mins then all Was fine. So I'm thinking water in a connection block somewhere?
Could be your stalk. They are fairly cheep to buy a new one.

Yea think I may try a stalk and see how that goes. I wasnt sure if there was a realay for the intermittent side of it. Oh well thanks anyway mate will see how it goes
