Anyone aware of an alternative (but similar) centre to steel wheels. As much as i'd like to pay £30 for VW branded plastic centre caps :scared:

I've got some of them in the garage, didn't think they'd look any good (or even fit) on my wheels tho.

I'm sure the ones for the Clio steels are similar to the ones for the GTT cup wheels. Like below. Are they actually the same part? Make a big difference to both wheel types. Or do you have centre caps like the VW ones Mike, that cover the wheel bolts too? Not seen them before.

It's actually a set of 15" 7J Clio Williams steel wheels i've got.
Can't see them being too different from the 5 steels above in terms of fitment.

I'll be interested to know if they fit your 15" Clio steels. They can't be far off since the centre bore is surely the same as the 13" GTT cup wheels. Maybe Mike knows if they fit? Or is willing to accept returns if they don't.

I'm sure I've seen pics of Euro GTT's that have the Clio steels and some very similar looking centre caps on. I can't find them now.

There are also some 14" variant Clio steel wheels that I've seen with the centre caps fitted.

And I wonder it these would fit (and look any good) on cup rims:

Maybe you might reconsider one or two of those points. Namely points 1 and 2.

Edit - just seen the pic of your car. It all makes sense. Well, sense is a strong word. :D

The small renault centre caps fit the valver/williams steels ok. Big steve fitted them on valver steels on his 11turbo.

They are also available on renault kangoo and a few others. Pretty cheap from renault new, i bought a set for my cup steels on the van.

Ahhhhh.... Not quite true Captain Briggs. :tuttut:

The wheel centres I have on my 11 Turbo were just picked up from a Scrappy off a Renault Kangoo which are a very cheap option:

However, I think that the GTT ones would fit the larger wheel's as Brigsy suggests, as the bolt PCD is the same.

Mine are caps for a kangoo. Just look slightly different due to changes in production.;)

I'll just leave this here for future reference. If anyone is after some centre caps for the Cup wheels the part number is 7700302762. These are the ones off the Kangoo. They're not cheap though - you'll have no change from £70!
