Hi guys,

Need a little help. Need to move my 5 to a new home, problem is it's in a lot of pieces

Currently it's on axel stands, my front struts are fubar and un adjustable, so to aid loading onto a trailer, if I can get one, have any of you guys got a set of complete front struts as the raised ride height will help?

Easy I hear you say, unfortunately not, I've currently got no front cross member on so will need someone with a welder to come over and get the replacement stuck in place to make it rolling.

Funds are low so rewards will be in kind :hump: or tea/coffee :coffee: maybe beer  and snacks

Oh and all this before the 14th as things have moved quicker than expected :(

Hey fella,

Where have you got to move it to from its current location? Can be around next weekend 12th & 13th Oct to lend a hand moving it, could get mrs & kiddies together to keep them entertained whilst we get shifting lol. ;)

Yo yo mutha fuxer.

Not sure about that weekend as yet, might be busy, got a job on the go that might occupy that weekend. Let us know what you're up to and I'll pitch in if I can.

I have some well dodgy struts you can borrow.

Struts literally just need to bolt on and get it on/off trailer.

I've got between now & next weekend to get it ready to go & move it.

Doesn't have to travel far, 10 mins down the road. I can feel this becoming quite stressful :(

Loads of peeps don't have front cross members dude - you sure you need this in to move it?

BTW - pop over any time to get the strutts, if I'm Norwich bound I'll give you a bell fella.

Think I might get away without it if needs be but the subframe is only mounted by the rear bolts and steady bars?

Cheers matey, will try and get across one evening if you've not made it this way before :)

All you need now is a trailer - Russ's trailer is out of action atm so no help from there.

Oh - I didn't realise there was that much of the front missing btw - can you get a picture up.
