Hey there, im not sure who i should be asking here.

I was wondering if RTOC on the whole would mind sharing a few of thier upcoming event with another owners club. Max of about 15 cars.

Ya see at mallory park last year there was loads of non-renaults and also lots of space. Im thinking that in the paddock at the next national day an extra 15 cars in the corner wouldnt be a problem and also help the club out as its them selling the tickets.

A few RTOC members inc myself have been talking about a RTOC vs CZTOC shoot out over three stages. RR Track and POD.

The CZTOC is small and not established like RTOC. They just need to benifit from the economies of scale RTOC do to get them going.

Honest and sensible opinions wanted. NOT my car is faster than your car pants.

Good idea but what is the CZTOC anyways?

I dont see no problem with them coming along if guests are invited. Or if they wanted to join the club they could then gain benefit from membership of this club. However I dont feel they should benefit from discounted items for when they are not part of this club.

If I sold them on eBay or anywhere else we would benefit as well. However that was a RTOC national day for members of RTOC. Unless stated for guests as well. Which I believe last national day was, but at a higher cost than normal members. This was also the same with the Santa Pod meet. Club membership helps pay for these events and other events during the year thats why they are subsidised for us. Its not for non-members to get same discount as members of here, else nobody will join up and gain from it :)

If guests are allowed, which will be decided by the commitee then yes, I dont see why not.

Non club members will always pay full whack for any RTOC sponsored/subsidised events .What I'm looking to do with the shop is give discount codes for fully paid up members to use when purchasing .
If you want the cheaper tickets then join the club .It's only £25 and you'll get that back with your first couple of events or shop orders .

:-) its a good idea, we already do events with VW boys... but normally on a RWYB at the pod so its no cost to either club.

The problem with inviting another club to share our ND or to even give them a slice is ND cost the club thousands and we wont get that back... Also if we have alot of people on Track who arent RTOC members it would p*ss of alot of RTOC members....

Non members are welcome to come to any event as a "non member" and normally pay more.... but why should we let non members use the track? We could charge them more but i dont think that would work...

But for a pod day where ques are non extistant i dont see a problem with an extra 10 or so car turning up... but there would have to a be limit so there is no big que for our members.

Got to agree .

National day should be RTOC members and invited Renault clubs only.
A lot I think would get pissed off if we had a load of other stuff turn up at the clubs major event .
I personally don't have an issue with it as long as they join the club .You don't have to own a Renault Turbo to join in the fun but you do need to show some support .
