Im after a T25 type turbocharger for my r5gtt.
It must be able to be fitted with minimal fuss and be efficient when running boost in the high teens.
I ideally want something that also works well with the standard cam.

I currently run a ktr180 which is basically a .48 t25 wheel machined into a t2 front housing with a standard t2 .35 rear, so the next step or two steps up from that would be good.

Personally wouldn't use him, many other decent firms out there who can build a good spec'd turbo

I've heard CR turbos in Hampshire are the bench mark johnny, might be worth a try?

Thanks for the help and advice so far :agree:
Im tempted by the saab turbos but seems like there is alot of work needed to get the downpipe side right and its hard to find one that hasnt done a million miles and wont blow up at the first sign of decent boost.

Why not Mark?

After fitting one of his so called rebuilt turbo's it pissed oil out the turbine and compressor housing, had it examined by another well know turbo builder to find out it was the worse piss poor rebuild ever
After a long 'chat' down the phone he then was telling me there was nothing wrong with it and saying me and the turbo builder didn't know what we were talking about

Seem a few other turbo's of his in poor state too

Second what topcat said. Cr turbos did my t25.service and communication spot on. And price wise not bad. Them or turbo dynamics are good also.

Mine smoked a wee bit, but that was just the oil that was put on the seals. Is it smoking at the unit or exhaust?
