View Full Version : Clio 172 wheels
Could anyone tell me if 16" 172 alloys fit a 5? I've bought a set.
If not they'll be up for sale next week.
Thanks in advance

Im sure ive seen a 5 with them on. Looked rather nice. Dont knw what you have to do to get them to fit though.:agree:
If it's these Turini's, I think they are great:

If it's the 16" version of these, I'm not keen. Think both fit, there is a pearl ph1 GTT on here with the Turinis on.

Btw, the consensus here used to be that 16's looked great but ruined handling/ride in comparison to 13's/15's.
I think the 16" 5 spoke version require spacers. Not a big fan of them, turini's are far better
There used to be a white GTT on RTOC that had the 16" five spokes. It just didn't work but then everyone has different tastes and go through different phases. :agree:
And yes TC, if handling isn't high on the list then 16's can look brill when used with the right ride height.

Got them on mine. Do need spacers, but can't remember what size now.
They'll be going on my new shell (dave reeds car) when I build it back up. I think they look awesome on a 5.
Have to say, they look much nicer than the ones on the White GTT I've seen previously. :agree:

They need spacers. I have spacers and long bolts if needed.
I used to run them on mine years ago, I ran a 40 profile tyre to stop rubbing and had 5 mm spacers. I used to like the look back then, but I must have been a chav...............
Ruined the handling. 15's all the way.
