Somewhere Ive been a member for to many years, and a way to connect with an awful lot of good friends made via the club.

It's a part of life to me now.

Compared to what it was many years ago, a very quiet community of fellow Renault 5 owners (yeah i said it... )

A place where ive met some of my best genuine mates and gone to some of the best places / events/ countries!! All whilst enjoying Renault turbos along the way....IMO you have to put in to Rtoc to get something out. I love it!

I'm more of a back seat member, check in numerous times a day and read most threads, have done the same for the last 7 years.

I to have met some ace people through the club, and I have been lucky enough to learn lots about my gtt and more importantly how to make it rapido:smokin: and also how to break it:ashamed:

Information has been gathered over the years and is now very accessible to every member.

Lots of almost instant help by using the search function. So even when its 4am in the morning, cold and your fingers are numb you have what is usually a quick answer.

And of course lots of lovely 80,s/90's Renault turbo's and some bonkers projects for both track and drag. Even a decent amount of other makes and models. To browse over, the attention to detail on some of the threads is amazing :agree:

I regret joining RTOC... Would have given up on 5's/Renault many years ago....

That said I made some excellent friends, owned many quality cars, have a huge passion for the club, want the club and it's members to grow and enjoy future events!!

I'm the same at gtphil, I read the forums everyday more than once but don't post too much.

there is a stigma attached to online forums which i try my hardest to break everyday,
to me cars arent a hobby to me its always there in the front of my mind and forums have helped me meet like minded people where i can just talk and not feel out of place like between here and dtd its a community, an extened family, where people look out for each other, take the piss out of each other and are always there when you need them
