I'm still on the prowl for a nice standard example with a good shell. phase 1 or 2 i'd love electric blue or a raider but beggers cant be choosers. aftermarket exhaust and wheels fine but no horrible bodykits and probably dont want something with loads of engine mods running 25psi as it's only a matter of time before that might go pop.

Max budget 2500 - let me know what you've got. based in Yorkshire so within 80-100 miles ideally.

Hammer had a nice phase 2 in glacier white up for 2K last week. Think he changed his mind, but you could always ask I Spose.

Penfold - i have to admit i'm shocked at what some of the cars are going for or maybe not going for but are up for in the club.
A friend of mine is selling a Celica GT4 in great condition with 90k miles on it on a L plate (94) and he's only asking £2000 for it, that's a hell ova lot of car for £2k.

After my 5 turbo's i bought an MR2 turbo, so have also been looking at those as i'm just after a weekend car for mainly summer use - again you can get a hell of a lot of car, reliability and performance for my budget so i might even go that way in the end.

but then when i look back through the cars for sale threads, back end of last year and early this year there were some nice examples going for £2k - £2.5k so i'm thinking if i'm patient the right car will come up for sale.

They're obviously only worth what people will pay for them, but i dont see many changing hands for upward of £3k personally.....

you can see that the windscreen is going on that one.
no way is it worth £5.5k.

Ignoring inflation, prices for good cars have definitely gone up a bit. Prices for mint cars more so.
