what is the purpose of the one way valve in the line from block to braided hose to turbo is it that the turbo is not starved on crank ? also has anyone had problems with this seizing up and starving the turbo ?

Yes and yes, I removed mine a few years ago, my turbo has done 3k since and been fine.
Someone did have an issue with one and it killed a few turbo's before diagnosis.
