Morning all.While i was changing the clutch cable at the weekend i noticed the gear linkage rod was loose/had movement.Is this normal?Cable seamed to go on ok and it is an oe cable but it dosent go into gear as good as it did.More so reverse than the other gears.Its a valeo clutch.The pedal is maybe a touch high and the biting pount is very low.Im going to take the cable off and try again.

You will need to reset the clutch pedal ratchet. There is a guide somewhere.
Regards the linkage, yes they have play. Some can be removed by a little grinding off the bush in the box but adjust the clutch cable first and get that sorted.
