fuel pump earth

Anyone know where the - wire that goes to the pump is earthed or what it goes to?
Found this out to be my weird problem with the fog light coming on and killing the engine at idle, ran a temp earth to pump and all is fine but want to sort it out properly.

Just earth it to the chassis near the pump mate, the original earth goes into the loom and prob earths out at the rear light mount or front under the kick panel

Was thinking of doing that but thought I may try and use the loom but il do that. Cheers matey.
