View Full Version : Spilt oil after service
Hi guys.
After an oil and filter change I was running the car up to temp when the engine started smoking. I think I must have spilt some oil while filling it. Will this just burn away naturally? Will it cause any problems?
Cheers guys

Wipe away what you can and let the boost do the rest.
Cheers guys.
I have had a good mop, now for a blast I guess!:D

I was filling a customers motor and an almighty bubble blew all the oil back out while filling it... Engine covered :cartman: took lots of cleaning as smoked like romils motor on the rollers..

Ha ha! I did use a funnel but removed it from the filler cap to shove it in the mrs' trap as she was moaning at me for being in the garage too long!:D
It still smokes like a BBQ. :ashamed:
Use brake cleaner either spray or fluid, the oil will run right off
