pearl phase 2

As pearl is the colour of the bare shell I have on vin anyways I was unsure weather to keep it pearl?? saw this on ebay and it changed my mind I think it looks awesome.
then I thought as in the add it said it had been re-painted what if this is not the standard pearl?

I emailed the guy selling it to no avail so now I'm thinking I may hand over big bucks for a paint job going off original paint codes and it will come back looking like an old ash tray like most pearls ive seen do????

(no offence to anyone some just look dirty)

Is it the light or a different non standard pearl is my question really?:confused:

That looks like original pearl in a really nice soft evening light, apart from the bodykit/bumpers which look awful. Not sure what you mean with the "old ash tray" comment, I always wanted a pearl. Done well it will cost you a fortune though, you are right about that.

Mine was resprayed in pearl white in 2002 I love the colour!!

The standard pearl is a stunning colour when new. It just looks like crap after 10-15yrs of neglect (which is what most ended up like).

that's what I thought mate some look stunning I wasn't bein funny when I said 'dirty ashtray'!! just q lot look like they have been attacked with nicotine yellow off white colour not nice but not all!!
