A little tip for those of you doing a Megane f7r conversion:
To disable The immobilizer on the ecu (in a Megane with IR plip) do the following (on Siemens fenix 5 ecus):
Remove the ecu plug, take the small screw out so the plug can be separated, pull the cover back.
Start the engine. Let it run.
Cut the wire in pos 5 (green in mine) And 35 (pink/black in mine)
Stop the engine..
The ecu has no immobilizer now
Test it by locking the doors with the remote. The immobilizer light flashes..
Try and start the engine..
Voila!! No immobilizer..
Hope it is useful. This should be possible on all Renaults with ir plip immobilizer!
