Its been a while sinc ei changed the plugs and developed a bit of rough running recently - plugs look like theyve had it. What is everyone using these days, im running standard boost currently but will be running upto 20psi area in near future.

The ones i have in now are ngk b8evx which i thought where correct? and been fine last couple years. I see mike/cgb list three
ngk br8eix
ngk b8eg
ngk b9eg

You don't want 9's as they are too cold a plug.. Stick with the type you have in a the moment.

B8EVX are hard to come by now as they have gone over to BR8EIX

I have used b8evx for years, but as dale said apparantly they have been discontinued.

Just clean them up and regap if they look ok. The set in the van must be up to about 10k miles :D i occasionally regap them.

I used to use B8EVX but couldn't get them last time so I'm running BR8EIX now. They seem fine.

They have them listed twice. 15 in total on each so not sure how many they have, other listing was for Renault 5

I'd like some of these. But like the bearings- will they disappear as soon as they appear again

Nope, they wont be supplying any of these, thought it was too good to be true. They are just listing items rather than actually what they have in stock.

I'm challenging that Dale! The "Buy it Now" button on eBay is a legally binding contract.
They are blaming a 3rd party, which has absolutely nothing to do with us. As for the price,
well, it is within an "acceptable" range, in that this must be very old stock.

We'll see what happens, but I up for this...

Hello,

We have cancelled your order and issued you full refund.

Sorry, but those spark plugs was mistake and they are not available right now.

Regards

Ignoring the poor english, they have realised they are sitting on a small goldmine and will relist or they indeed have none.

And this:
Hello,

We are contacting you regarding your recent purchase. We have contacted our suppliers and seems that they showed wrong information on these spark plugs, and they are much more expensive. So we will need to cancel your order and issue you full refund.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you regarding this.

Well, the seller is in breach of contract. You need to go through the eBay contact us
process until you finally get a freephone number and have item number to hand.
I've already done this; you must impress upon the eBay person that you see it as a
breach of contract and that you wish to see it fulfilled.

Steve

My bet is they don't (even the supplier) have the spark plugs at all. They probbaly have a superceeded version, which was mentioned earlier in the thread. I could be wrong though.....

Anyone tried NGK BPR8ES in the C1j?? only ask they get good reviews on the evo's and seem to be in most cars around the 400-500bhp mark and they are only about £10 for a set of 4

http://www.ngk.com/product.aspx?zpid=9500

I was going to use the on the f7p but the hex head is to big for the f7p hole but the C1J are external to head
