New poster! (less than 10 posts)

I'm currently saving up for a one piece down pipe and a afr meter for my 5
However pennies are short at the moment and I will hopefully be getting it next month
Will it be ok to run 16 psi at the moment with a .9 ac and 140 main just until I get my down pipe and afr?

I know you's can't give a sure answer just wondering if I could end up with serious problems with this set up?

Thanks

Even without the meter, you can tell when your car isn't running as it should. If the mix becomes to lean your car does lack umpf.

A 140 jet does sound okay though imo

I'd dare say that would be too rich :-)

way too rich, 16psi should be fine on a stock main with a .90 ac and even then it might be rich. best get a wideband in for setting up

like said not wise to do it without afr gauge - but if i was to guess id say go 1.2mm 2nd stage and leave everything else for that sort of boost

Ok thanks for help I'll try just the .9 ac and if it feels lean al maybe get a 130 main

Find someone local on here with a wideband, detcans, soldering iron and mini drill bits

I'm based in Cambridgeshire if that helps

Stick the 1.4 main in and leave the A/C standard fo now.

When you have the AFR meter put all the jets back to standard and start increasing the 2nd stage progressively up to a maximum of 1.4 mm. If it's still lean then drop the A/C down to 1.0 mm. :)

Just leave the boost low until next month, patience man lol. If money is tight last thing you want to do is blow it up
