cam fitting costs

Just after an average price it would cost to get a 285 cam fitted along with all the necessary items like springs.

It is possible to fit with the engine in, but most will remove the engine to do it so'll you'll have to factor this in when thinking about manhours.

£350 would cover it but it does depend on who does it and what other problems they find when removing the engine and they will find something.

I priced up fitting a 285 cam, vernier and springs for someone recently, parts along come to around the £450 mark (got to remember gaskets, oil filter, oil, chain and tensioner, etc)
