Can anyone recommend a shorter length drive belt that enables the alternator to sit as close as possible to the engine. My front mount pipe work leaves me little or no movement to tension the belt........

I do believe you need a campus pulley and belt.

Stupid question but why do you need the pulley as well as the shorter belt?

The campus pulley is smaller in diameter so brings the belt in tighter, you wouldn't get a campus belt over the standard pulley, but I could be wrong so I'm happy to be stood corrected:D
