Does anyone have any tips for removing old gasket that seems to be pratically welded to the head?

Its to remove a baked on exhaust gasket and ive been using a razor blade but its taking forever! Not to mention on an awkward angle!

Cheers :)

Saturate it in WD-40 and come back to it later. Usually works for me. A sharp scraper or chisel is also your friend.

as above WD40 or PlusGas and let it soak, never an easy job but if you can get one of the diy scrapers that takes stanley blades as the sharp edge you can get a bit more force behind it :)

I didn't think about soaking it in WD- good advice.

I've just seen online there is a Loctite gasket remover but it sounds a bit too hardcore as it removes paint etc as well

thanks:)
