Well where do i start...owning my 4th Reno and taking it on as a complete job I brought it 5-6month ago no no tax or mot was complete but was tired looking with lots or rust in places nothin new hey since I've had it ive stripped it completely nearly ready for work to getting her back to best (G48WDP) must be nutts but can't help loving them :)here is a few pics of when I first got her.

It was indeed my old 5 many years back lots of good memories with that 5 first time around I owned it must be back around 2000. Not so many good memories 2nd time around (alot of work needed as pretty much destroyed when I got it back). It's really nice to see it in the club and being looked after and still alot of the stuff I purchased new is still on it aswell by the looks of it:agree:

Pic's attached 1st time around I owned I think a matter of days after I purchased, my first change was the wheels to the turbines and I stuck a Magnex exhaust I got if from Reading.

Is g48 the one we went to the rolling road in dart ford about 8 years ago ?

No mate that was C12 GTT that came straight after G48

2nd time owned after alot of work, I even took a trip to BBPT to buy the full SFS hose set, rad.
GTTuning strut brace added,
GTTuning Boot brace,
New Turbo Technics Stage 1 added
New K-Tec pro Alloy intercooler added
I even bought the hocks brand new,

The Pipercross induction kit was off a scooby and I note that's still on the 5 aswell:agree:

I sold it on to Rich aka GTTnutter on here later. I have a pic somewhere of Markey Mark and Rich collecting it on a trailor:agree: That was many years back

Was that the RR day at Track N Road Powerformance? If so i didnt realise it was that long ago, that was when i owned the OE tungy before Fido bought it

That wasn't that long ago, think it was more like 2007 when that was done as that was when I had the Renault 19 16v chamade

I think you're right, i seem to remember having the tungy in 2006 (world cup year) I owned twice.

Anyway, nice to see James old 5 getting some TLC :)

I've spoken to Dan a few times over the last couple of weeks and he seems a really genuine guy with a real excitement for restoring this car! If he carries out half the work he wants on it then it will be a real gem!

all good to see history on this car and I will keep this car on going can't wait to finish her off thanks James for getting in touch and sharing the past with me I will keep updating once I get to a main computer instead of my iPhone
